As part of a partnership between ENSAD Nancy and the Basketry Development and Promotion Committee, the order was made to us to design objects revisiting basketry and more specifically the technique of basketry on mold. The molds are conceived and printed in 3D before being used by basket makers from Fayl-Billot.
The 3D models will then be accessible on an online platform developed by the CDPV and ENSAD.
This helmet made of wicker has to be completed by leaves and branches to disguise oneself, explorate environment and test balance in the context of animations in nature. It has been conceived has an extension of Les branchés project.
