During this workshop, in connection with the St-Joseph retirement home located in Nancy, we suggest to imagine concrete and prospective communication tools and protocols, intended for residents, which could create or materialize a presence accompanied by physical and sensorial interactions while keeping the required physical distances. This is the occasion to think of intuitive objects that make sense towards an audience less used to numeric tools and sometimes isolated. This research is preceded by a reflection on what makes the presence of the other, in terms of perceptions and micro-perceptions - sight, hearing, smell, touch, warmth.
